CTOnews.com, January 8, Samsung recently redesigned its native Clock application, bringing a new clock Widget, introducing some new features for countdown notifications on the notification bar, and so on. The updated version is 12.2.05.19 and is currently being rolled out to all Samsung devices around the world.

The most noteworthy aspect of this update is the clock Widget. Samsung has adjusted the font style and background color to make it look more comfortable as a whole. Click on the countdown notice in the notification bar, which will now open the countdown screen in the Samsung Clock app, making it easier for you to enter the countdown from anywhere on the device.

CTOnews.com learned that when you start a new countdown in the Samsung clock and minimize the application, a pop-up window appears on the screen showing the status of the countdown. So, Samsung has now added two new options to it. The first option is to delete the countdown, which means you can delete a countdown at any time without entering the Samsung clock app. The second option is to switch between different countdown times. This option will come in handy when you set multiple countdown times.
