Officials said that Red Flag E001 as an important strategic model of the group, the offline node of the body-in-white is very important. The trial production team shouldered an important task, fought with all its strength, and overcome unprecedented difficulties.

CTOnews.com learned that it had previously been reported that the new Hongqi E001 project is a mass-production version of the Hongqi Sedan EV concept car, positioning a pure electric medium-sized sedan with a range expected to exceed 1000 km and supporting recharging.

In terms of modeling, the Red Flag Sedan EV concept car still uses a family-style design language, the front face of the oversized grille is equipped with LED light source, and still uses the brand's iconic red axis design. In addition, the new car also uses a short front and rear suspension design, with hidden door handles.

In terms of power, the Hongqi Sedan EV concept car has an ultra-long range of 1000 + km and will also support 30kW wireless fast charging, which can reach a range of 350km in 5 minutes and 0-100km / h acceleration in only 3 seconds.
