CTOnews.com learned that the QD-OLED is a hybrid design that combines the brightness and color of quantum dot technology in Samsung's existing flagship QLED TVs with the backlight of the self-emitting OLED panel to achieve higher brightness, wider color gamut, deeper black bit display, faster response and wider viewing angle.
