CTOnews.com January 9 news, AMD released the sharp dragon 7040 HS series processor in the recent CES keynote speech, and now the sharp dragon 7040H series has also been updated on the official website. The parameters of the two series of processors are the same, except that the former 35W TDP and the latter 45W TDP. At present, AMD has not released the Ruilong 7040 U series processors.

According to reports, the AMD 7040 series of notebook processors use 4nm technology, using 8-core Zen4 CPU and RDNA3 kernel display, kernel display specifications up to 12CU 3.0GHz, and equipped with the latest Ruilong AI engine. In terms of memory support, the AMD 7040 series notebooks support DDR5-5600 and LPDDR5x-7500.

The model parameters of AMD Ruilong 7040H/ HS series are as follows:

R9 7940H / HS:8 core 16 threads, up to 5.2GHz 45W TDP

R7 7840H / HS:8 core 16 threads, up to 5.1GHz TDP 45W TDP

R5 7640H / HS:6 core 12 threads, up to 5.0GHz 45W TDP

Notebooks with Ruilong 7040 HS processors will be available in March 2023.
