MSI releases GA107 version of RTX 3050 graphics card: power reduction of 15W and 6pin power supply

CTOnews.com January 9 news, MSI today released GA107 version of RTX 3050 graphics card, the first batch includes GeForce RTX 3050 VENTUS 2X 8G OCV1, GeForce RTX 3050 AERO ITX 8G OCV1 / V and other models.

According to reports, the update uses a new GA107 GPU chip, while maintaining the original 2560 CUDA core, 8GB GDDR6 memory, video memory width of 128bits at the same time, compared with the old version of GeForce RTX 3050 equipped with GA106 with 130W power consumption, the new version of GeForce RTX 3050 with GA107 only consumes 115W, a reduction of 15W, and the power supply interface has changed from a single 8pin to a single 6pin.

At the same time, the output interface of the V1 version of MSI GeForce GeForce RTX 3050 VENTUS 2X has also been updated, changing the previous DP x3 / HDMI x1 interface to DP x2 / HDMI x2 interface, and the RTX 3050 AERO ITX V1 version from DP x3 / HDMI x1 to DP x1 / HDMI x1 / DL-DVI-D x1.
