CTOnews.com, January 11, according to the latest list published by the US Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO), Apple has obtained a technology patent for electronic devices and electronic device accessories. The system uses near-field wireless communication technology to dynamically modify or change the operation mode of the equipment.

CTOnews.com inquired about the patent and found that it is applicable to smart keyboards, smart brackets, keyboards, docking stations, housings, Apple Pencil, iPhone, iPad, MacBooks, Apple Watch and so on. Apple devices can automatically adjust the user interface according to the user's room (such as kitchen, living room, bedroom).

For example, if the user puts the phone on the stand or docking station in the bedroom, the alarm clock will be activated / deactivated; if the user is in the living room, the interface displays audio control options to control the iPhone or the home stereo system, HomePod or other device connected to the iPhone.

If the user is using it in the kitchen, recipes or one or more timers will be displayed on the interface. If the user is in the docking station in the music room, the graphics object may include an audio control and a sheet music interface. In some embodiments, the association of an attachment (e. G. a docking station) with a particular room is based on the allocation of the attachment to a virtual room in the smart home platform.
