Note-taking app Evernote launches Backlinks function to make it easier for users to open notes they have recently visited
CTOnews.com January 13 news, note-taking app Evernote announced this week that it will make it easier for users to return to their previous notes by introducing Backlinks based on user feedback and comments.
CTOnews.com learned that note-taking app Evernote allows users to link one note to another. However, after clicking the link to jump, the user wants to return to the previous notes, which is not particularly intuitive in terms of visual operation.
Evernote's newly introduced Backlinks feature can display all the notes that users have previously viewed, and users can return to the notes they have visited with one click. Evernote describes this feature as "Fewer clicks... less friction... more flow" (reduce the number of clicks, reduce the complexity of operation, and make the interface smoother).
According to Evernote, Backlinks makes it easier to "connect ideas". For example, a user may need to open multiple notes when compiling a monthly newsletter. Now with Backlinks, users will be able to return to a specific note without having to go back to the application's home screen and search for it again.
