Samsung recently announced its first Galaxy A smartphone in 2023, the Galaxy A145G, CTOnews.com reported on January 13. It will go on sale in Europe in April, and Samsung's new plan shows that the Galaxy A145G is available in the United States for $199 (about 1341 yuan).

Samsung Galaxy A14 is equipped with 64GB storage and 4GB running memory, and there is only one color to choose from in the United States: black. The US market lacks silver, crimson and light green, but color availability may change over time.

CTOnews.com learned that the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G is pre-installed with Android 13 and One UI 5.0s, although the firmware is not as feature-rich as high-end phones. The phone also supports virtual memory expansion, so if there is not enough memory in 4GB, users can convert some storage space into virtual memory for better multitasking capabilities.

Samsung Galaxy A145G carries a 6.6in Full HD + display with 90Hz refresh rate and Infinity-V display notch. Rear 50MP main camera + 2MP depth of field camera + 2MP macro camera, front 13MP selfie camera.

The device is equipped with a Tianji 700 chip (European version of Exynos 1330) and a 5000mAh battery. It is also equipped with side fingerprint recognition, and the official page claims that the phone will be available on One UI 6 (Android 14) and One UI 7 (Android 15) in the future.
