Musk adjusts Twitter API,Tweetbot and other third-party clients can no longer connect.

CTOnews.com, January 13-Elon Musk (Elon Musk) has made a lot of adjustments to the social platform in the weeks since he took over Twitter. The latest news is that Musk adjusted the Twitter API, resulting in connection failures for Tweetbot and many third-party Twitter clients.

At around 11:00 EDT (12:00 Beijing time on January 13), many Twitter users noticed that Twitterrific, Fenix, and Talon third-party clients were unable to update or get the latest updates.

CTOnews.com queried the tweets of several third-party client users and found that Tweetbot was affected by the API outage, but fortunately, Tweetdeck did not seem to be affected.

Whether this is a temporary interruption or intentional action by Twitter remains to be seen, as the company has not yet released an official explanation.

However, it makes sense that Twitter may shut down third-party clients. These customers usually do not generate any advertising revenue for the platform, which Mr Musk has made clear to be a priority during his tenure so far.
