After 79 seconds in the air, Smart completed its 39th flight on Mars.
CTOnews.com, January 13 (Xinhua) NASA's Ingenuity has been living on Mars for nearly two years. The Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) tweeted today that Smart successfully completed its 39th flight and stayed in the air for 79 seconds.
JPL officials say the Smart flight covered a distance of 460ft (140.25 m), with a maximum altitude of 33ft (10m), and successfully landed at the take-off site after a long flight.
Dexterity did not break any records on this flight, nor did it carry out any special missions. The main purpose of this flight is to prove to JPL that Smart is still in good working condition and to assist perseverance (Perseverance) in the next phase of its exploration mission.

The longest flying distance is 2325 feet (708.9 meters), which was achieved in April 2022. It has a maximum speed of 12.3 mph (19.8 km / h) and has reached a maximum altitude of 46 feet (14 m) in many trips.
