CTOnews.com January 13, earlier today, Microsoft released the latest Insider build 25276 on the Windows 11 development channel, which brings a new task manager feature, a new OneDrive upgrade reminder, and some bug fixes.

CTOnews.com learned that, as usual, Microsoft has released a list of open questions under investigation. While some of the problems are old ones that the company is still investigating, Microsoft has noticed a new problem, indicating that the company is aware of user reports and problems when it comes to the download speed of the recent Windows 11 Insider build.

The update log that describes the problem indicates:

[new] some users have encountered longer update times than expected when installing the latest version. We are actively investigating the problem.

Microsoft's Brandon LeBlanc, who is a senior project manager on the Windows Insider project team and happens to be a very active social network, says Microsoft is actively studying the problem of slow Insider build upgrades.

In addition to the changes announced in the new development version, Microsoft hopes to eliminate the diagnostic tool Microsoft Support Diagnostic Tool (MSDT) in a few years' time.
