Ningde Times applies for "Kirin Battery" Trademark

CTOnews.com, January 16, according to the website of the State intellectual property Office, Ningde Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. applied for the registration of two "Kirin batteries" trademarks on January 4, which are classified as scientific instruments and means of transportation.

Previously, Ningde Times said on the interactive platform on January 11 that Kirin batteries are expected to be mass produced in the first quarter of 2023; the company is committed to promoting the industrialization of sodium ion batteries in 2023.

CTOnews.com learned that the Kirin battery uses the third-generation CTP technology of the Ningde era, with a volume utilization rate of up to 72%, an energy density of up to 255Wh/kg, and a range of more than 1000 kilometers.

At the same time, Kirin battery also uses the world's first cell noodle cooling technology, which can support 5-minute fast hot start and 10-minute fast charging. Ningde Times said that under the same chemical system and the same battery pack size, the electricity of Kirin battery pack is 13% higher than that of 4680 system.
