Sources say Sony will launch a number of third-party games for PlayStation 5

CTOnews.com January 16 news, a few days ago there was news that Sony plans to hold a live State of Play event in February or March this year, and then hold another PlayStation Showcase in May this year.

The latest news indicates that Sony will launch a large number of exclusive first-party and third-party games this year, and third-party games look very much to be expected, as they are likely to be released in the near future, possibly the above-mentioned State of Play live event.

Well-known uncle Party @ The Snitch revealed that Sony PlayStation is about to announce third-party content, but it is a pity that he did not provide any hints about the new work, but this undoubtedly once again attracted the attention of players to the next State of Play.

In September 2022, Sony brought a lot of high-profile game content to its last State of Play, such as Iron fist 8, Twilight of the gods of war, Street Fighter 6, and the PS VR2 project.

But so far, apart from the rumors of the return of the "alloy equipment" series, we haven't seen any rumors about large third-party games, so you might as well look forward to what Sony will announce next.

Considering that the Sony PS VR2 will be released on February 22, 2023, we can assume that the State of Play will most likely be held before February 22, and may include a number of VR games, especially PS VR2's debut and games under development.

It is worth mentioning that Microsoft has announced that it will hold a Xbox face-to-face conference on January 26 this year, which will bring works such as the new content of Online in ancient scrolls, "extreme Speed Series", "my World Legend" and "Cabernet Island". CTOnews.com will bring you more reports.
