CTOnews.com, January 17, a Bloomberg article today about the leadership change in Foxconn's iPhone assembly business mentions some of the requirements for Apple's iPhone quality standards.

Foxconn has appointed Michael Chiang as the new head of its iPhone assembly business, replacing its longtime head, Wang Charng-yang, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The Bloomberg article focuses on the promotion of Foxconn's new head of iPhone assembly, referring to an earlier interview with Michael Chiang, in which he delved into the different quality standards Apple expects compared to the Android phones that Foxconn assembles for Chinese companies.

"for Android phones in China, we only need to assign 100 workers to each production line, but for iPhone, we need 1200 workers," Michael Chiang said, stressing Apple's stringent requirements.

CTOnews.com learned that Foxconn is the largest production base of Apple contract manufacturer iPhone, after the lack of production capacity of Foxconn in Zhengzhou once raised concerns about Apple supply. It is understood that Foxconn's Zhengzhou industrial park carries about 80 per cent of the production capacity of the iPhone 14 series, and more than 85 per cent of the production capacity of iPhone 14 pro is in Zhengzhou.
