Looking forward to the second half of the year, even if some products with an earlier inventory correction cycle are likely to be restocked for the year-end festivals, global political and economic trends are still the largest variable, and capacity utilisation may not pick up as quickly as expected.

CTOnews.com learned that TrendForce Jibang Consulting said that the increase in capacity utilization of eight inches and twelve inches from the third quarter will be more obvious. However, considering the overall economic situation is not clear, the overall increase may be limited, it will be difficult to return to full load in a short period of time.

In terms of capacity layout, there will be more than 20 new fabs planned in the world in recent years, including 6 in Chinese mainland, 5 in Taiwan, 5 in the United States, 4 in Europe, 4 in Japan, South Korea and Singapore.
