CTOnews.com, January 19 (Xinhua)-- XCY, a Chinese mini PC company, launched a new product, which is equipped with Intel Cayon N5105 processor, 8GB memory and up to 256GB storage space.

The XCY-X66 computer has four 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports, making it ideal for DIY network applications. The computer is very mini, measuring only 75 x 75 x 42 mm (2.95 inches x 2.95 inches x 2.05 inches). The XCY-X66 starts at $257.

The starting price is available with 8GB LPDDR4X memory and 128GB SSD models, but XCY also offers 8GB+256GB models for $270. Or users can upgrade the storage themselves, because the computer supports M.2 2242 slots and supports PCIe 2242 NVMe or SATA storage. However, the memory RAM is welded on the motherboard and cannot be replaced by the user.

CTOnews.com learned that the XCY-X66 uses active cooling and has fans and vents at the bottom of the chassis, so it is not absolutely muted. But it is small enough to be easily installed under the desk, behind the monitor, or anywhere else. Or you can take it with you, throw it in a bag, and take it from one place to another.

XCY indicates that the computer supports Windows 10, Windows 11, and Linux systems. Four high-speed Ethernet ports will make the system most attractive to users who want to run dedicated servers, firewalls, or other network operating systems.
