CTOnews.com, January 19 (Xinhua)-- Korean movies and unscripted programs have become increasingly popular among global audiences in the past year, according to Netflix. This year, Netflix will further expand its existing South Korean film lineup.

According to reports, this year, Netflix will release six South Korean films, starting with the sci-fi thriller Jing _ E, which will be released on January 20, followed by Kill Fushun, a professional killer plagued by the role of a mother, and the sequel to the drug cartel-centered criminal action thriller, War II. Other films explore the themes of revenge ("Ballet Vengeance"), teacher-student rivalry ("Ultimate Game") and hacker attacks ("though only lost the phone").

Reality Show programs include endurance competitions ("the Top of physical Fitness: the Challenge of 100", "the call of the Siren: the Island of Fire Survival"), Zombie Survival Battle ("Zombieverse"), growth camp ("Nineteen to Twenty") and mind game wars ("the Devil's Plan").

Two new documentaries are about to be released. "Yellow Door: Looking for Director Bong's Unreleased Short Film" (title to be determined) provides insight into how Oscar-winning director Bong Junhao made his film debut; the crime documentary "in the name of God: betrayal of Faith" explores the self-styled Messiah in modern Korean history.
