CTOnews.com January 19 news, China Telecom issued an announcement today, disclosing the main operating data in December 2022.

According to the announcement, as of December 2022, the number of China Telecom mobile subscribers reached 391.18 million, with a net increase of 100000 in December 2022 and a cumulative net increase of 18.75 million in 2022. Among them, the number of 5G subscribers of China Telecom reached 267.96 million, with a net increase of 5.02 million in December 2022 and a cumulative net increase of 80.16 million in 2022.

CTOnews.com learned that the number of China Telecom cable broadband subscribers reached 180.9 million as of December 2022, with a net increase of 270000 in December 2022 and a cumulative net increase of 11.19 million in 2022; the number of fixed telephone subscribers reached 104.95 million, with a net decrease of 410000 in December 2022 and a cumulative net decrease of 1.69 million in 2022.

For comparison, in the first three quarters of 2022, China Telecom had a net increase of 17.46 million subscribers to about 390 million, while 5G package users had a net increase of 63.24 million to about 251 million, with a penetration rate of 64.4% and an ARPU of 45.5 yuan for mobile users.
