Apple Apple Watch Ultra can't really turn off, the only way is to drain power.
CTOnews.com January 20 news, from the original to the Series 4, Apple's Apple Watch can't always show the time like a normal watch. Since Apple Watch Series 5, Apple has solved this feature by introducing a feature that displays the time even when the phone is off.
CTOnews.com comes with three battery states of Apple Watch before the battery is exhausted:
Turn on Apple Watch and have all the functions
Shutdown Apple Watch does not have any function
Apple Watch enters Power Reserve mode to display the time
Apple launched the Apple Watch Ultra in September last year, which has only two battery states before the battery runs out:
Turn on Apple Watch and have all the functions
Apple Watch enters Power Reserve mode to display the time
In other words, users can't really turn off Apple Watch Ultra, so they have to wait for the battery to run out. After the user chooses to shut down the phone manually, the user can still display the time like the Power Reserve mode of other Apple Watch models by pressing the digital crown for a long time.
Currently, the only way to shut down Apple Watch Ultra completely is to run out of power, which usually takes a few days. Even if the Apple Watch Ultra is turned off because the battery runs out, the user will still be able to wake up and see the time for some time to come.
The Apple Watch Ultra is not the first Apple device that still has a function at shutdown. IPhone can reserve enough batteries to keep the "Find My" on so that it can be found in the event of loss and shutdown.
After being reminded by netizens, Apple Watch cannot shut down completely after upgrading watchOS 9.
