Dell's new U3224KB: 32 inch 6K resolution, mini DP 2.1interface

CTOnews.com January 20 news, Dell at CES this year released a new UltraSharp 32 6K display, model U3224KB, will be available in the first half of this year, the price has not been announced.

CTOnews.com learned that Dell U3224KB should be the first LG 32-inch 6K IPS Black panel with a resolution of 6K (6144 x 3456), which is 150% more pixels than 4K monitors. IPS Black technology can improve the contrast of IPS panel, while ensuring clarity, color and viewing angle, with deeper black performance. Dell says its blacks are 41 percent darker than regular IPS displays and its color accuracy is 1.2 times higher than regular IPS displays.

In terms of parameters, the U3224KB has a contrast ratio of 2,000:1, covers 100% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3 and 100% Rec 709 color gamut, and has VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification and ComfortView Plus certification.

The UltraSharp U3224KB also features a built-in 4K HDR webcam and support for auto AI framing to ensure you always stay focused. The camera can also record 4K video at 30 FPS and FHD video at 30/60 fps. In addition, this monitor also has two 14 W speakers.

In terms of interfaces, Dell has equipped the U3224KB with the latest mini-DisplayPort 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4 ports, which also provide up to 140W reverse power.
