She also bought a wireless keyboard and stylus for iPad. "I browsed social media and found that someone had the same problem," she said in an interview. "this affects my current study because I still don't have an iPad, but I need it for my course."

Amazon offered to offer her a full refund. However, since the order was placed at that time as a Christmas promotion, a full refund would mean that the order would be invalid, and now it would cost an extra 80 pounds (currently about 671 yuan) to place another order.
