CTOnews.com January 23 news, Apple since the launch of the iPad Pro product line in 2018, although the details have been adjusted, but the overall has not changed. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said in the latest Power On newsletter that Apple is preparing for a "major overhaul" of the iPad Pro next year.

Gulman said in a press release that Apple's changes to the iPad product line in 2023 are very small, and said that this year's new iPad Pro "will not have any noteworthy new improvements" and that there will be no "major updates" for the entry-level iPad, iPad mini and iPad Air.

Gulman said Apple is making a "major makeover" of the iPad Pro and is expected to debut at a special spring event in 2024. This "major transformation" includes, but is not limited to, upgrading to OLED panels.

There won't be any major updates for the 2023 entry-level iPad, iPad mini or iPad Air. The iPad Pro won't get any significant improvements either. However, the 2024 iPad Pro will be significantly revamped with a new design and OLED screen.

Foreign technology media 9to5Mac also shared a message about the 2024 iPad Pro, reporting that Apple plans to switch to a glass back cover for the iPad Pro instead of the current aluminum alloy. Apple is also considering bringing MagSafe charging to the iPad Pro line, similar to the MagSafe technology used on the iPhone.
