CTOnews.com Mobile World Congress (MWC), which runs from February 27 to March 3 in Barcelona, Spain, is the place for smartphone manufacturers to showcase innovative products, just like CES in January. While OnePlus has yet to confirm it will attend MWC, whistleblower Max Jambor revealed some details about the company's plans.

According to Jambor, OnePlus will release a concept phone at the upcoming MWC 2023, which will be called OnePlus Concept Two. However, details about the device are still scarce. But since it is a concept product, it is expected to include some breakthrough technologies and industry-first features.

OnePlus showed off OnePlus Concept One at CES three years ago, which was developed in cooperation with car manufacturer McLaren, and for the first time applied electrochromic technology, which is generally applied to aircraft and sports car glass, to mobile phones. In the exterior part, the whole phone is covered in the leather used in the McLaren supercar, which looks very cool. Unfortunately, it never entered the market.
