Five Mittens machine "kittens" caused a sensation in the chess circle, with an average of 2750 games a day on Chess.com.

CTOnews.com, January 23 (Xinhua)-- Chess.com launched five cute "kittens" chess robots earlier this month, causing a sensation in the chess circle, which is as powerful as the top chess players. Chess.com 's chess robot, called Mittens, features five cute cats and is challenged by chess lovers from all over the world.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Chess.com played an average of 27.5 million games a day in January and is expected to play more than 850 million games this month. The previous peak record set by the Netflix online drama "Rear Wing abandons soldiers" has increased by another 40 per cent.

Chess.com said in his official blog that Mittens is a passive aggressive personality. CTOnews.com learned that the development team said that Mittens's style was not aggressive, but that it was won through clinging battles, very similar to the tactics of world champion Russian guru Anatoly Karpov Karpov.

International master Levy Rozman tweeted: "this robot is a psychopath!" "the chess world needs to unite against Mittens," joked in a follow-up tweet.
