CTOnews.com, January 24, according to foreign technology media Patently Apple, Apple recently won a patent for the design of a security camera in front of its door. According to the patent description, the camera system has the function of face recognition and can communicate with HomePod mini and Smart TV+.

CTOnews.com learned that Apple bought Lighthouse in March 2019, and the patent application was made by two engineers from Lighthouse.

In one embodiment, when a device detects the entry of a specific object (such as a face or body), it can perform facial recognition to identify the specific person. The device may further identify the physical characteristics of a particular person from the first video feed, for example, based on the analysis of other physical characteristics of a particular person (for example, their torso, clothes worn, etc.).

Apple's camera system will use deep learning models to train itself to improve its ability to identify someone accurately.
