CTOnews.com, January 26, according to MacRumors, according to a research report shared by Barclays analysts Blayne Curtis and Tom O'Malley this week, iPhone 15 series models will support Wi-Fi 6e, but did not specify whether the function is applicable to all models or limited to Pro series models.

So far, Apple has added Wi-Fi 6e support for a small number of devices, including the latest 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, and Mac mini models, while all iPhone 14 models are still limited to the standard Wi-Fi 6.

CTOnews.com learned that there had been news that iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 would also support Wi-Fi 6e, but failed to do so. Now that Apple has begun to introduce Wi-Fi 6e support on the latest devices, iPhone 15 is likely to support this standard eventually.

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max as usual in September. Sources say all four models will be equipped with smart island and USB-C ports, while the Pro model is expected to be equipped with Apple's latest A17 bionic chip, solid-state volume and power buttons.
