CTOnews.com, January 27, Microsoft released the latest preview of Windows 11 Build 25284 in Dev Channel yesterday. However, in addition to the features written in the announcement, the company also hides some features in the code, and coincidentally, someone has now dug up a very practical small feature.

This is a new feature called "using Windows Update updates to fix problems" or "repair upgrades / repair installations" and is currently available with vivetool / enable / id:42550315.

Simply put, this feature helps users reinstall the version of the system they are currently using without using any installation files / media / media (ISO image, USB disk, or DVD CD), which is faster and more refreshing than a direct restore system.

At present, there may still be some imperfections in this feature, so Microsoft does not include it in the official update log, but it already supports normal use. If you think it's useful in front of the screen, give it a try.

CTOnews.com suddenly thought that Microsoft usually only releases certain versions of ISO images, and there are often some Win11 enthusiasts who follow the latest version, but you will probably have to upgrade to the latest version manually if you choose to reinstall the system with the official ISO.
