Ofcom: shell Energy is the most complained broadband company in the UK
CTOnews.com, January 27 (Xinhua)-- British digital regulator Ofcom released the latest data, revealing broadband, mobile and landline reports for the period from July to September 2022.
According to reports, Shell Energy is the company with the most complaints from users among broadband and fixed phone companies (CTOnews.com Science Popularization: shell has integrated and renamed Shell Energy, the energy business and broadband provider First Utility), while the worst mobile operators are BT Mobile and Virgin Mobile.
The data show that Shell Energy has received fewer complaints compared with the previous quarter, but most of the complaints are about failures and service problems.
In addition, Sky received the fewest complaints, and EE did a good job in landline service. As for mobile operators, Tesco Mobile,Sky Mobile and EE received the fewest complaints.
"overall complaint levels have been low in recent months, but some providers need to improve their level to match the customer service standards provided by competitors," said Fergal Farragher, director of consumer protection at Ofcom.
Ofcom said it would closely monitor Shell's performance because its complaints were significantly higher than those received by its competitors.
