CTOnews.com, January 28 (Xinhua)-- Aliens launched the first 14-inch portable game, Extraterrestrial x14, last year. This year, alien x14 R2 was officially released on CES, with screen and configuration upgrades, and is expected to be available soon.

CTOnews.com learned that the new alien x14 R2 measures 260.41 x 321.08 x 14.5mm and weighs just over 2kg.

In terms of configuration, x14 R2 is equipped with the 13th generation Raptor Lake Mobile CPU, with optional 8-core Core i5-13420H and 10-core Core i7-13620H, and video cards with 50 W RTX 3050 and 85 W RTX 4050 / RTX 4060. Memory is available at 16x32 GB, supporting a maximum of 4 TB PCIe NVMe SSD.

On the screen side, the new x14 R2 features a 14-inch QHD+ display with 165Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and 3 millisecond response time.

In other areas, the new x14 R2 features a MicroSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone / microphone Jack, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2Gen 2 Type-C port, an HDMI 2.1output and a USB 3.2mm Gen 1 Type-A port. The notebook comes with an 80.5 Whr lithium-ion battery and a 130W Type-C adapter.

According to Dell's official website, the new x14 R2 starts at $1799 (currently about 12197 yuan).
