State Post Bureau: the national express delivery volume during the Spring Festival holiday exceeded 700 million pieces.

CTOnews.com, January 29, China Post Bureau monitoring data show that during this year's Spring Festival holiday (January 21-27), the overall operation of the national postal express industry is safe and stable, with about 4100 million parcels collected, an increase of 5.1% over last year's Spring Festival holiday and 192.9% over the 2019 Spring Festival holiday. Delivery of 330 million parcels, an increase of 10.0% over last year's Spring Festival holiday and 254.8% over the 2019 Spring Festival holiday.

CTOnews.com learned that data show that since the start of the Spring Festival travel season (January 7-27), the national postal express industry has collected 3.94 billion express parcels and delivered 4.9 billion parcels, an increase compared with the same period last year.

In order to ensure the basic smooth flow of the postal express delivery network, especially in rural areas, the postal administrative departments urge postal enterprises to continue to ensure universal postal services during the Spring Festival, and guide express delivery enterprises according to the actual needs of delivery in different regions, reasonably promise services during the Spring Festival, announce the operation plan in advance, co-ordinate the transport capacity resources of the whole network, and ensure the effective operation of the network.
