The net loss after deducting non-recurring profits and losses is 1.8 billion yuan to 2 billion yuan.

As for the reasons for the collapse in net profit, BOE said that in 2022, due to frequent geopolitical risks, global inflation, the impact of epidemics and other aspects, global economic growth was weak and consumption remained weak. Consumer electronics terminal brand customers were particularly affected. The semiconductor display industry continued the downward trend in the second half of 2021, and the industry performance continued to decline throughout the year.

In addition, under the influence of the obvious decline in terminal consumer demand, the conservative procurement strategy of customers of downstream brands and the low-price competition situation in the industry, semiconductor shows that there is an imbalance between supply and demand of products in 2022, the prices of mainstream products continue to decline, and the prices of some products drop significantly, semiconductor shows that business performance is facing tremendous pressure; at the same time, part of the company's production line is still facing greater depreciation pressure, and business performance such as OLED continues to be under pressure.

BOE said that when the company basically achieved its strategic objectives, taking into account the domestic and foreign environment, its own strategic objectives and other factors, it recovered some of its overseas investment and made some profits by selling part of its SES shares.

By December 2022, BOE had accumulated more than 80,000 independent patent applications, ranking 11th in the US patent authorization list and ranking in the global TOP20 for the fifth year in a row.
