Gurman disagrees with Guo Mingyi's prediction: I haven't heard that Apple will launch a collapsible iPad in 2024.
CTOnews.com January 31 news, Tianfeng International analyst Guo Mingyi tweeted yesterday, predicting that the collapsible iPad will be launched in 2024 and will use a carbon fiber support frame. But another reliable analyst, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, disagreed in his latest tweet, saying he had not heard from any source that Apple would launch a collapsible iPad in 2024.
Gurman tweeted:
Apple will introduce new members to the iPad product line in 2024-an OLED screen, a redesigned iPad Pro, and upgrade existing entry-level and mini product specifications.
As I pointed out before, the product lines of iPad and Apple Watch will be updated very little in 2023. And I haven't heard from any source that Apple will launch a collapsible iPad in 2024.
CTOnews.com has previously reported that Guo Mingyi said that the folding screen iPad will be equipped with a support frame made of carbon fiber, which will make the support frame lighter and more durable. Anjie Technology is a polishing and fitting supplier of folding iPad carbon fiber support frames, and is expected to continue to benefit from the new trend of folding devices equipped with support frames in the future.
