CTOnews.com February 1, Microsoft recently released the Skype 8.93 update for macOS, Windows, Linux, Android and iOS platforms. This update allows users to scan the QR QR code to add Skype contacts.

The new version of Skype 8.93 also specially optimizes the video call experience on mobile, simplifies the management of Caller ID settings, and provides richer color options for theme settings.

CTOnews.com learned that Microsoft has enhanced the real-time translation function in video calls in this upgrade of Skype 8.93, using TruVoice to make the translation voice less cold. This means hearing a more natural translation sound.

The software samples the words you say and adjusts the translation response to the same sound. Microsoft said the feature currently supports English, French, Chinese, German, Spanish and other languages.
