Glory's new mid-range phone is exposed: equipped with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip and 6000mAh battery
CTOnews.com, February 1 (Xinhua) Glory is developing a mid-range smartphone with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip. According to Weibo blogger @ Wang Zai know-it-all, the glorious new machine has entered the final commissioning stage.
The new Glory will also feature curved OLED screens, 12GB+256GB storage and 6000mAh batteries. The exact model of the phone is not known.
CTOnews.com learned that in September last year, Qualcomm released Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, using Cortex-A78 CPU as its main CPU kernel, 4nm process, 4x CA78@2.2GHz+4 x CA55@1.8GHz configuration, 40% performance improvement over the previous generation, Adreno GPU support for variable rate coloring, performance improvement of 35%, and support for LPDDR5 memory. New SoC phones such as Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 will be released and go on sale in the first quarter of 2023, officials said.
Glory will unveil the Magic5 series at this year's MWC conference in Barcelona and the international version of the Magic Vs folding screen, which will carry the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
