Valve releases a small update for Steam clients: enable the new version of Big Picture mode

CTOnews.com February 2, Valve today released a small update for Steam clients for Linux, Windows, and Mac platforms. The main purpose of this update is to fix the BUG in previous versions while improving client stability.

After looking at the update log, CTOnews.com found that the most noteworthy change in this update is that the new version of Big Picture mode is enabled, similar to UI in Steam Deck.

For players who don't like the new Big Picture mode, you can access the old mode by using the-oldbigpicture command line option. However, Valve indicated that the old Big Picture schema would be completely deleted in subsequent updates.

After enabling the new Big Picture mode, the player will notify the user when a Xbox handle connection is detected. On the Linux system side, the new Steam client update fixes crashes in the libaudio library.
