CTOnews.com February 2 news, according to Taiwan Economic Daily, Hon Hai Chairman Liu Yangwei revealed yesterday that he is planning to set up an electric car parts factory in Europe for the first time, and will go to the United States to sign contracts with customers from March to April, during which he may also announce new plans for the Wisconsin plant in the United States and inspect the plant in Mexico.

In terms of model planning, Liu Yangwei said that new models will certainly be launched on Foxconn Day this year.

Specifically, Liu Yangwei pointed out that Hon Hai Group, which originally has ICT-related factories in several places in Europe, will set up electric vehicle-related factories in Europe for the first time, and the first step is to lock in electric vehicle components, that is, electric vehicle factories will be slower and parts factories will be faster.

CTOnews.com learned that Liu Yangwei said he would visit customers in the United States from March to April, when there should be several related signing activities and his first visit to a factory in Ohio, as well as some new plans at the Wisconsin plant.
