CTOnews.com February 2 news, DJI announced the launch of L bayonet components for Ronin 4D film machine, further expanding the lens group of Ronin 4D.

Leica first launched the L bayonet in 2014 and now has 10 cameras and more than 50 lenses in the alliance. DJI officially joined the Leica L Kakou Alliance on June 15, 2022, and currently its members include DJI, Leica, Sima, Panasonic and Leitz.

Thanks to the short flange distance of only 20mm, the L bayonet design shortens the distance between the lens and the sensor, which facilitates the leveling of the head. The camera bayonet is made of high-quality wear-resistant stainless steel with an active locking structure to ensure an accurate and tight connection between the camera and the lens.

The Zen X9 pan head camera carried by DJI Ronin 4D is equipped with interchangeable bayonet design, which not only supports DJI independently developed DL bayonet, officially launched Leica M bayonet, third party launched Arley PL bayonet and Sony E bayonet, but now officially adds support for L bayonet, allowing Ronin 4D movie machine to support the installation of L bayonet lenses for Leica, Panasonic and Sima.
