CTOnews.com, February 4, Nvidia said that they recently fixed a problem that caused users to limit the performance of some graphics cards when they opened Discord in the background.

It is reported that the patch will be downloaded automatically when you log in to Windows, so you do not need to manually download video card drivers or other software updates.

Nvidia said the problem affected graphics cards such as RTX 3080 and RTX 3060 Ti, and recent Discord updates prevented its GPU from reaching the highest frequency, roughly reducing 200Mhz. This will undoubtedly result in a slight performance loss when PC runs the game.

According to Nvidia, the fix appears as an application configuration file update, and of course you can apply it manually until then, but CTOnews.com must remind you that manual configuration is relatively cumbersome, and you at least need to download the profile manager and then export, edit and re-import the configuration file.
