For the 16th year in a row, Apple was named the world's most admired company by Forbes.

CTOnews.com, February 5 (Xinhua)-- Apple is firmly at the top of Forbes' annual list of the world's most admired companies (World's Most Admired Companies), winning the first place for 16 years in a row.

Apple, which has topped the list for the past 15 years, topped the list again this year, beating many other big companies, including Amazon and Microsoft, which tied for second place, and Berkshire Hathaway, which ranked fourth.

JPMorgan Chase ranks fifth on the list, surpassing Walt Disney, which is sixth. Retailer Costco came in seventh, Pfizer ranked eighth, Alphabet ninth and American Express 10th.

CTOnews.com learned that the ranking is a ranking of corporate reputation and is based on a survey of about 3700 executives, directors and analysts.

Subdivided into subcategories, Apple ranks first in the overall ranking with a total score of 8.65. Naturally, it is also at the top of the computer industry rankings.
