CTOnews.com, February 5 (Xinhua)-- Japanese manufacturer CFD Gaming was the first to sell PCIe Gen 5.0 SSD,2TB for 49980 yen (currently about 2604 yuan), and now some bloggers have got the product.

According to images posted by Twitter blogger @ momomo_us, he has got the SSD, and benchmark tests using CrystalDiskMark have confirmed that the SSD can easily exceed the sequential read and write speed of 10 GB / s. However, the write speed of a smaller capacity decreases slightly (~ 9.5 GB / s).

In addition, the SSD fan runs at a very high speed during the test, much louder than the standard radiator of the core i7-13700K processor. It may be due to the high utilization during storage testing, and the sound is not expected to be so loud during normal use.

CTOnews.com learned that the SSD uses the M.2 Type 2280 D2 (double-sided) design, with a 20mm small fan to assist in cooling, the main control is the group PS5026-E26, and the flash memory is the Meguiar 3D TLC B58RJI 2TB model with 4GB DRAM cache.
