Android 14 DP1 supports new features of dual SIM cards: can automatically select mobile data that uses better signals

In the latest Android 14 development preview released today, a new feature is provided in SIM card settings that allow users' phones to automatically switch between two SIM cards based on "better phone calls and Internet availability."

This feature will allow users to specify a second SIM card as a backup so that when their primary SIM card does not have a good network signal, Android will automatically switch the use of mobile data to the second SIM card.

This new automatic switching feature can save users time. It is worth mentioning that this feature does not need to be enabled manually, and it takes effect immediately on Android 14 developer Preview 1 when there are two SIM cards (physical or eSIM).
