Win10 / Win11 Academy: how to disable the fillet design of Microsoft's new Edge browser
CTOnews.com February 9, Microsoft recently announced the integration of ChatGPT's new Edge browser and Bing search engine. Retrofit the previous Edge browser
CTOnews.com users can follow the following steps in the Edge browser:
Enter and access edge://flags on the address bar
Search the search box for "Microsoft Edge rounded corners" and disable it. This option disables fillets.
Search the search box for "Microsoft Edge minimal toolbar experience" and disable it. This option is used to move the profile icon to the right.
Search the search box for "Make Rounded Tabs feature available" and disable it. This option is used to disable circular labels in Edge.
Enter and access edge://settings/ appearance on the address bar, and then turn off the use fillet for browser tabs option.
Restart the browser
Unfortunately, Microsoft Edge temporarily removed the Mica effect. Developers recently removed the logo responsible for eye candy (visual effects of no practical use / UI special effects), and now you can't return to it.
