PC Security Channel (TPCSC) latest video Has Windows become Spyware? Microsoft Telemetry collects a lot of data about user preferences and online behavior.

TPCSC uses Wireshark, a free network protocol analyzer, to grab packets and gain insight into network traffic.

TPCSC installed Win11 system cleanly on a brand new laptop. The results showed that Win11 laptops attempted to transfer data to third-party servers the first time they were powered on without prior user permission.

TPCSC analyzed DNS traffic using Wireshark filters and found Win11 connected to online services offered by Microsoft such as MSN, Bing search engine and Windows Update.

Win11 also accessed third-party servers from Steam, McAfee and Comscore www.example.com. ScorecardResearch.com

Many Windows 11 initial DNS queries were designed to provide "telemetry" data to market research companies, ad providers, and even geolocation-related domains such as geo.prod.do without permission or Web browsing activity.

TPCSC says Microsoft monitors your behavior and actions from the moment you buy a new Windows device.

TPCSC also compares WinXP in the video, before Microsoft introduced the concept of "telemetry." After reinstalling WinXP, boot only to try Microsoft Windows Update service, without accessing any third-party services.
