Nvidia R530 driver released this month, bringing RTX video super-resolution

CTOnews.com February 9, Nvidia announced at CES earlier this year the new RTX video super resolution (RTX Video Super Resolution) technology, which can improve video resolution through AI technology. According to VideoCard, Nvidia will launch the R530 driver later this month to provide RTX video super-resolution support.

According to reports, the RTX video super-resolution function will log on to the GeForce RTX 40 and 30 series GPU, which uses AI technology to remove the blocking effect of video compression and improve video resolution, thereby improving the quality of any video viewed through the browser. This feature improves the sharpness and clarity of the video, allowing people to view online content at native resolution on a high-resolution display.

Nvidia has announced the launch of RTX video super-resolution for Chrome and Edge browsers.

It is reported that the technology is not suitable for battery-powered systems because it requires more power when it is used. This means that the technology can only be used with an external power supply. In addition, the technology does not seem to force it to be turned on manually, but users can turn it off in the Nvidia control panel.
