It is revealed that Apple's new 2023 MacBook Air 15 inch will be released in early April.
CTOnews.com Feb. 13-Apple's much-anticipated large-screen MacBook Air is nearing release, according to a new report. DSCC analyst Ross Young reported today that the 15.5-inch MacBook Air has already started panel production this month, indicating an expected launch in early April.
Ross Young and Bloomberg have previously talked about the 15-inch MacBook Air, which is expected to be released in spring 2023.
Expect this laptop to be basically a 13-inch replica of the MacBook Air, but with a larger screen.
That means Apple will offer MacBook Air in two different screen size, 13.6 inches and 15.5 inches. Apple once offered MacBook Air in two different screen size, 11-inch and 13-inch, but eventually simplified the product range and no longer introduced the 11-inch version.
CTOnews.com learned that Guo Mingxi had previously reported the rumored 15-inch MacBook Air, but did not write it as "MacBook Air," but used the general "MacBook." The analyst also said that the 15-inch MacBook will be available in both M2 and M2 Pro configurations. The 13-inch MacBook Air only offers the M2 chip.
In addition to the large-screen MacBook Air, Bloomberg reports that Apple is also working on a 12-inch MacBook. However, the device won't be available until sometime in late 2023 or early 2024 at the earliest.
