Recommended upgrade as soon as possible: Apple iOS 16.3.1 and macOS 13.2.1 fixed high-risk vulnerabilities that have been exploited by hackers

CTOnews.com, February 14, Apple today released updates to macOS Ventura 13.2.1, iPadOS 16.3.1 and iOS 16.3.1, which are relatively modest. However, this update fixes a vulnerability that has been exploited by hackers, and CTOnews.com recommends that users upgrade as soon as possible.

According to Apple's official update log, this update fixes a vulnerability in WebKit that allows maliciously crafted Web content to execute arbitrary code. Apple says there is already evidence that hackers have exploited the vulnerability to launch attacks. The vulnerability is a type confusion issue, which Apple says has been resolved through improved checks.

There are no other noticeable fixes in macOS Ventura 13.2.1. The iOS 16.3.1 update fixes Siri Find My and iCloud settings and optimizes the "accident detection" function of the iPhone 14 model.
