CTOnews.com, February 15, the latest report from IDC shows that in the fourth quarter of 2022, the Chinese tablet market shipped about 8.66 million units, an increase of about 16.7% over the same period last year, of which the consumer market grew by 25.8% year-on-year, while the commercial market fell by 40.3%.

According to the report, shipments of China's tablet market increased by 5.2% in 2022 compared with the same period last year, four consecutive years of growth since 2019. CTOnews.com learned that the top five manufacturers in China's tablet market in the fourth quarter of 2022 were Apple, Huawei, Glory, Xiaomi and Lenovo.

▲ Touyuan: IDCIDC said that judging from the overall tablet price trend in the fourth quarter of 2022, although manufacturers carried out promotions in advance with the help of Singles Day, the average unit price of China's tablet market rose 1.7% in the fourth quarter of 2022 compared with the previous quarter, driven by the growth of shipments in the high-priced segment of brands such as Apple, as well as the international exchange rate.

According to the price segment, in the fourth quarter of 2022, compared with the same period, the market capacity of less than 1K and 2K-3K products decreased, while the share of 1K-2K mainstream brand products and high-end products above 3K increased.
