CTOnews.com February 16, the aviation industry today held a large-scale fire fighting / water rescue amphibious aircraft "Kunlong" AG600 project 2023annual work meeting, a systematic summary of the AG600 project research and development work, a comprehensive deployment of the 2023 mission target.

Picture from the aviation industry 2023 is the key year for AG600 to enter into practical application, which will lay the foundation for fire-fighting forensics in 2024. The conference ensures that the annual goals of "one definite, two-line flight test and type III test" of the AG600 project in 2023, fire-fighting forensics in 2024, rescue forensics in 2025 and small batch delivery of fire-fighting projects are successfully completed as required.

CTOnews.com learned that AG600M-1005, 1006 and 1007 aircraft completed the final assembly in June, August and November 2022, AG600M-1003, 1005 and 1006 aircraft completed their maiden flight in May, September and December 2022 respectively, and AG600M completed the iron bird test, static test and on-board ground test.

In early December last year, the aviation industry independently developed a large-scale fire fighting / water rescue amphibious aircraft "Kunlong" AG600M (1006) successfully made its maiden flight in Zhuhai, Guangdong. This is the third AG600M aircraft that has completed its first flight test since 2022. After the successful verification of the 12-ton water delivery function, it is another key step towards being put into practical use in June 2023.
