Twitter opens Community Notes function: concentrate netizens' efforts to curb the spread of fake news.
CTOnews.com, February 17, Twitter announced the Community Notes feature last week, and today it is officially announced that it has been launched on iOS, Android and the web.
CTOnews.com Lecture: Community Notes code name "Birdwatch" was first proposed by Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Twitter, in 2019. The main function is to allow netizens to add comments at the bottom of the tweet, hoping to curb fake news on Twitter through the power of netizens, so as to avoid misleading events.
"this change enhances the impact of contributors' efforts and helps ensure that relevant content is displayed wherever it may be useful," Twitter said.
