Tesla Berlin Battery Factory has been put into production, but only a single battery module is involved.

Steinbach said Tesla only produced individual battery modules at the battery factory in the Berlin super factory, which was different from the company's original plan. Outsiders believe that this should be Tesla, taking into account the preferential tax policies of the United States, so give priority to the construction of the Texas super factory battery plant.

He also pointed out that although the complete battery production process had not been directly realized on site, it was important that the production steps of battery components had been completed. In this sense, the battery facilities of Tesla's Berlin super factory are already very advanced.

Although the battery plant at the Berlin Super Factory is already in operation, it would not be surprising if the electric car maker expands the plant in the near future. However, the minister pointed out that Tesla had not yet submitted an application to expand the plant.

Therefore, apart from a statement of intention, the state government does not know Tesla's exact plan to expand his battery production line. Steinbach is dismissive of environmentalists who oppose the Tesla super factory. "We are more optimistic about it than you are."
